Management Skills

In the summer semester we were enrolled in a self-management course. This class focused on medical conditions, typical barriers related to the condition, and teaching strategies one may utilize in order to encourage the client to manage their health and wellness.

I am also the class co-fund raising chair, and, as such, I interact with the class treasurer in order to jointly manage our money and spending.

Research Skills

I have just joined a research project exploring any behaviors or occupations that are common in siblings of people suffering from schizophrenia in order to see if there are any signs or precursors to schizophrenia. The goal of this study is to find a way to diagnose schizophrenia before a psychotic episode occurs.
